Quiet Light
An apartment of warm neutrals, where luxury speaks in a whisper
"We wanted this apartment to feel quiet even when the whole family is home: a soft grey-beige backdrop, warm wood, stone and light that never hits the eyes but spreads gently along the walls. Luxury here isn't on display — you feel it with your fingertips..."

Quiet Light
This project is about silence. Warm beige, taupe, walnut, stone and soft textiles are arranged so that the eye has nothing to snag on — and yet it is never boring. I love that this apartment doesn't try to prove anything: it is simply a good place to live.

bright living room with a crystal rain
The heart of the apartment is a large living room with kitchen and dining area. Above the modular sofa hangs a "crystal rain" — an installation of brass mesh that almost dissolves in daylight and steals all the attention in the evening.

The palette is warm grey-beige, taupe and graphite. The wall behind the sofa is clad in vertical slats, the fireplace wall in textured stone, and the floor is a light herringbone. A bio-fireplace is built into a long stone shelf, so the living flame sits at eye level when you're on the sofa.

The kitchen is separated by a faceted glass partition in an MDF frame: you can see it, but you don't hear it, and when needed it slides into the central unit. The island and splashback are dark marble with grey veining, and the oval dining table sits under a scattering of ceramic violets.

From the living room a long, light corridor-gallery leads deeper into the apartment: a niche with a portrait, a stone console and soft shell-shaped armchairs.
master bedroom in shades of taupe
The bedroom is the quietest room in the apartment. We clad the entire wall behind the bed in matte panels matching the walls and hid the light: a line of LED under the ceiling, a sconce on the panel and lamps on the bedside tables. A smooth copper track runs around the bed.

A bed with a low headboard and a bench at its foot; textiles in linen, wool and velvet in shades of taupe and graphite. Floor-length curtains make the windows look taller and soften the morning light.

By the window there is a reading nook: a cognac armchair, a small table and a painting of a branch on a gold background — the only bright spot in the room. The wardrobes hide behind handleless panels, so the walls stay calm.
kids' room: niche, glass and a desk by the window
The kids' room is designed as a small apartment within the apartment, so that the growing son can be independent in the future.

The bed is built into a niche with a soft headboard and a rounded column, and above it hangs a manta-ray lamp that has become the star of the room.

The zones are divided by a glass partition in a slim frame: the sleeping area stays cosy and private, while daylight passes right through.

Along the window runs a long desk and a window-seat daybed with cushions, perfect for reading. Lit shelving, a sofa for friends and a ladder upstairs make it a room you never want to leave.

The palette is the same as in the rest of the apartment — light wood, beige and graphite. No "kiddy" colours, so the room can grow up together with its owner.
bathrooms: light stone, walnut and dark mosaic
The apartment has two bathrooms and a guest WC, and they all speak the same language: light stone, warm walnut and dark mosaic that shimmers in side light.

The master bathroom is conceived as a small spa. Two basins on floating vanities with a hammam shower between them behind slim-framed glass. The shower wall is dark mosaic, and the lit niches display bottles like a shop window. There is a separate warm wall with hooks for bathrobes, and the towel rail is a minimal ladder of blackened steel.

The second bathroom has a tub clad in the same mosaic. The lighting is hidden under its rim and in the niches, so in the evening the room glows from within like a lantern.

The guest WC is the most intimate: a dark ceiling, mosaic and a statement painting above the basin.
study, hall, laundry and salt sauna
Everything people usually hide is designed here with the same care as the main rooms.

The study has a sofa for resting and a wall with amber hand-painted waves. Open lit shelving holds books and a collection, and the desk stretches along the window.

The entrance hall is narrow and warm: wooden panels, hidden doors in the wall colour, perimeter lighting on the ceiling and a walnut console. Above it hangs a large painting — the first to greet guests.

In the laundry everything is hidden in dark walnut cabinets: washer and dryer, sink and garment care system. Even here the light is warm — lit open shelves instead of bare walls.

And the finale of the apartment is a Himalayan salt sauna. A wall of salt blocks glows from within, the ceiling is a "starry sky", and the bench follows the curve of a wave.
