Silla Hotel & Business
A hotel and business centre where space meets the history of the place
"The global trend is that home is more than a bed and a kitchen. Home is a lifestyle, movement, growth. Here you relax in the lobby, work in the office and coworking space, hold meetings in the café, enjoy great food in the restaurants and take care of your body in the gym and spa. No need to waste time travelling to live a quality life..."

origins: Kupsilla
SILLA is our concept for a hotel and business centre in Kupchino for the 2024 city competition. Two thousand square metres where you can live, work, meet and take care of yourself without wasting time on the road.

We started with the history of the place. The village of Kupchinova is mentioned in the 1612 "watch book" of the Korela half of the Vod Pyatina — it is at least 91 years older than St. Petersburg. For a long time it was called Kupsilla, and that name gave the project its title.

The second pillar is the hotel operator Cosmos Group. For us, space is a look into the future and a force that attracts no less than the depth of centuries. So the idea was born to unite three "sill-y" strong beginnings: space, modernity and roots.

hotel lobby and lobby bar: space meets roots
Guests are greeted by a reception desk against a black wall of glowing circles — like portholes into outer space. The desk itself is assembled from vertical bronze plates with warm lighting from below.

Next to it is a huge boulder with brass letters SILLA. The stone recalls northern nature and the village of Kupsilla that stood here long before the city.

The floor is terrazzo with large "shards", like a map of the starry sky beneath your feet. Golden mesh curtains and glass planet-spheres hang above the lounge, and soft sofas in a warm ginger shade make the vast space cosy.

The lobby bar continues the theme: dark metal, lit shelving and armchairs with a graphic pattern.
business centre lobby: for those whose work is a passion
We conceived the business centre lobby not as an office hall but as a "sill-ful" place of attraction: here you can take a break, hold a meeting in a calm setting, gather your thoughts.

This space is not about burnout and over-achieving. It's about steady growth and slow but unwavering movement towards a dream. That's why the materials here could just as well belong to a spa.

A full-height bas-relief wall, soft textile lamps, leather sofas, bronze panels and a lit SILLA logo at the reception. Only the "shards" in the terrazzo remind you of the common space theme.

Questions? We'd love to hear from you. Call, write or drop by for a coffee.
